1. Shake the bottle well before use.

2. Open the bottle. The liquid will appear cloudy brown — this is completely normal. You may notice a distinct natural smell, similar to low tide or seaweed. This is because MARPHYL is 100% natural and made from decomposed phytoplankton. The smell dissipates as soon as you mix it with water. You can also leave the bottle open outside for 1–2 days and it will clear on its own. The presence or absence of smell has no effect on the potency of the product.

3. Fill your watering container with enough fresh water to cover your plants.

4. Measure your MARPHYL concentrate. The rule is simple: use 20 times less MARPHYL than water for the All-Purpose, +CalMag, and +Phosphate formulas. For the +Minerals formula, use 25 times less.

5. Apply every two weeks as a soil drench around the base of your plants, as a foliar spray directly on leaves, or directly in your hydroponic system. For foliar application, early morning or late afternoon is best to avoid leaf burn.
